How do you remove the... ?
I just ordered the blitzsafe adaptor for my TSX, I have read the blitzsafe post but am still unaware on how to remove the storage/din/cubby underneath the navi? People have posted that you just stick you hand in and pull it out, I tried that but I doesnt seem to work. Can anyone give me a more detailed explanation on how to install the blitzsafe?
When you have your hands in there, push on the sides such that you get some grip and the box distorts just a little. Then pull out. Keep it simple.
It will make a snap noise as you pull it out... that's just the clips releasing.

I would be careful doing this. I can now because I've taken my cubby out so many times, but you could accidently crack the hinges if you do this too hard.
First I would tape up the sides of that area with blue painter's tape so you don't scratch anything.
There are two different methods I have heard of:
1) Take out the rubber mat. This should expose two holes. Use some type of hooks and slide them in the holes. This should allow you to easily pull out the storage bin.
2) Push outwards on the sides while pulling toward you. The first time you try to get it off it would be a little harder, but the more often you take out the bin, the easier it gets.
If that all doesn't work you can just grab the door with one hand and hold the bottom of the bin down with the other hand so that you are pulling the bin out at the perfect angle. This would be the last resort. You have to be careful with the door.
After you get it out, you must also unhook a wire harness and the light.
Good luck!
