head unit mounting kit

guys, i've tried to search for a mounting kit that would house an alpine head unit but until now no luck. hopefully you guys can help me out. the deck comes with a mounting sleeve, but i don't know if this would be sufficient since the tsx slot has nothing for me to screw it on. please help.

thanks

won't work, you probably have to get the MP3 car mount so you could put in the cubby hole below the stock stereo.

The TSX radio is so integrated into the dash, it would be difficult at best to find a way to keep the HVAC and not the radio.

The first question is, why do want a new radio--for what feature?

JL Audio sells a new pre-amp that you could use the clean up the line level outs and run them into a set of aftermarket amps and speakers?

And you don't need a new HU for aftermarket SAT radio either.

If you really want an Alpine HU, your best would be to integrate it seperate from the OE radio into the cubby under the HVAC. If you do it well enough you could keep the cubby door to hide the new radio making your ride look stock when parked.

Like people have said above me, the TSX has a really integrated system. You may just want to go 100% custom on the HU setup if you want to change it out. However, if you have a Navi car... there goes your AC controls.

that's exactly what i will do, but trying to mount the HU is not as easy as i had thought base on the availability of materials for the TSX. i think i'll go with MrChad's idea of customize the pocket... troubles at first sight, not too good of a start.
