I hear what you are saying. Most all have now been notified if they read this thread.

Now a new deadline should be posted for who wants what.

Now then, would all responses be made to you?

Just trying to get a feel for the chain of events in order.

Any and all input welcome

$400.00 over is the best I've heard yet! NO dealer in my area will do this!

Well once again.... If you are serious... Please tell me what color and options do you want?

color/navi/trans

This goes for everyone... If you are in on this deal please reply asap with this information

Once we have a list of all the cars we need, we can work with a dealership. right now we are just jibber jabbering about what we can do and how to do it. But we know what we need to do, so lets get on it.

May I ask which dealer that we are dealing with?

If the price is the one that kenji4861 mention in the earlier post. ($25,921.76 with destination for non-navi) I think that we should just “seal the deal” with the dealer. I personally don’t think any dealer willing to beat that price.

By the way, I am looking for either ABP without navi or CG/Ebony without navi.

’05 price ($25,922) – ’04 invoice including destination ($24,692) = $1,230

$1,230 - $500 invoice price difference between ’05 and ’04 which leaves them “profit” of $750. For a new car with less than 2 months old, I don’t think any dealer will take a profit margin that low. Unless we want to get the car in April, that will be a total different story.

I want a 6-speed MT.

I personally believe different. If you read any how to buy a car guide, they will generally tell you that the best time of the year to buy is at the end of DEC. Plus the added fact that we are going in a group deal, so they what they lose in the individual deal, they gain by the group deal. Also there are other factors we are unaware of such as dealer buyback and whatnot. So My theory is this. We will only gain by waiting for a few weeks to get a deal.

guys, but gotta close this one down.

Powerbuys/groupbuys have to be cleared with Smitty first. This applies to cars, boats, planes, speakers, bodykits, anything.

Edit: Nevermind... See below.

You've got a duplicate on the list pandimus; Larrymoecurly and OConnor are one and the same. So one less car!

I know im gettung one for sure but i dont know what color yet. Me and my gf is going to drive to Concord to see the colors ( they have all the colors there ) this weekend (an hour drive). Sorry taking so long, if I don;t make it in time then I'll just buy on my own. Really sorry to take so long but lots of $$$ for a 22 year-old got to make sure I like it.

If it helps, I want a 2005 TSX AT no Navi (Blue or Siliver)

Actually if you dont know what you want, but have an idea between a couple colors that could be a good thing, cause the dealer could tell you if they have either color in , might help you make your decision.

BTW added to the list.

My wife and I saw the silver/ebony in Medford OR., at Butler Acura a few weeks ago, one word, KILLER!

We are limited in colors because of the Ebony, I like the silver, guess what color my wife likes

If we can't get 10 people, I would still go with what we have. After all, I would think any dealer would rather sell five, six or seven at one time , over one at a time!

I assumed the list is for the folks in Southern Cali. I would think that some of us in Northern Cali would preferred to do the group buy up here as planned by Kenji. So far, Acura from Serramonte has the best price for us who are in the group buy in Northern Cali. Kenji, can you please confirm?

If you want to be on the so cali list that is fine, I havent seen Kenji on for ahwhile, (wonder what he's up to), but I do believe we can do better than my price for the group buy. Plus my color was rare.

I will find out what we can do for No. CA, but I too will submit this current list. We can compare. If not good, I don't have a problem driving down 500 mi.+ to pick it up. I am way north in CA., 200 mi. North of Sac.

Why would you do that if this is supposed to be a group buy

This suggests you've already been to a dealer and the price is $707.00 over invoice.

$24,602.00

$570.00 Dest.

$1821.00 Navi
------------------------
$26,993.00 Invoice

Tell me what I'm missing here

Will ALL serious buyers please check in tomorrow or as soon as possible, this way I would like to know who are still serious. I ask this because I am in contact with a dealer who sounds like they want to jump all over this! I will be relaying ALL choices, colors, etc around noon time, 12/3/04.

Pandimus

I noticed you took your name off the list so I won't be turning yours in since it sounds like you already bought one. I am preplexed as to why you would still pursue the group by. We should work together, you in the South Land and myself in the North. Then we need to compare our numbers. There is nothing in this for either one of us other than a good deal hopefuly. I'm all about hanging on to my $$ as much as I can. This TSX is my wife's X-Mas present and doesn't know about it! If all this foot work we are both doing is going to help us all save, then I'm all for it. Remember guys, it's power by the numbers, the dealers WILL NOT look the other way on this package .

I will be checking up on this thread in the morning and follow it through out the day and keep everyone posted.

I am dead serious about all this and I hope everyone her is too. So please check in!

Friends,

I am from Redmond, WA.

I am still going thru' previous posts in this thread and trying to figure out what is going on and what are the prices being offered etc.

The best quote I got uptill now is $26.6 for non navi, without tax and licencing. This quote is from Acura of Bellevue.

I will let you know soon if I am in for group buy. However, you guys are really doing some great work. Kudos to you all.
