I don't know if you guys encountered this situation before.

Once I was driving my 6MT with a girl beside me, and I needed to backup for parallel park or whatever, I looked back over my shoulder, with my hand shifting right for 2 clicks to the reverse gear without looking. My right hand touched the side of the girl's leg by accident because reverse gear location was too close to her left leg, then it becomes a bit embarrassing but not too bad for guys like me. And it actually happened more than once. And my female friend would joke that I must be intentional.


I think it only happens to 6MT cars with the reverse on the right of 6th gear, where the reverse gear is really close to the passenger seat. Well, I did touch the hairy leg of a guy friend wearing short pants by accident yesterday while backing up, yuck, too bad!

 

How far up the leg did it slip? (on her, not him... )

Was she wearing a skirt?

hahahha seee i thought the same thing when i shift period (at times ill throw it into the ss just to make sure im in 5th) and when i do if theyre sitting close ill hit thier legs, depends on the girl n thier position in the seat.

i have yet to do this on purpose, but you can to the same thing going into 5th gear. for some reason, girls like to sit cross legged in my car and their thigh is right there as i go into 5th. they never complain though, (neither do i) and rerely move their leg after that, so i keep bruching against them. the car is pretty cool, but some of it has got to be me...
