2k should be good for a ..18inch rims + tires.. unless u get it cheap, or u wun have enough to lower ur car, which will then all flow wel

if not, just lower ur car without changing the rims.. u will get some.. teins coilover or others and end up with 1300.. then u get get other stuff

i was thinking with going with either 18's or 19's.. so if i go with any of those u recommend lowering the car

dude, you should really try to pony up for the 06' model...find one with a little more miles on and you may be at about the same $$$.

What's the rush? Drive your car for a while and enjoy it. Two thousand won't go too far, plus you might need it down the road. I'd suggest learning what you can about the car from websites like these and don't be in such a hurry to spend mod money on the car right now. You didn't give many details about the car, but you may even find that you'll need to spend some money on just wear and tear and maintenance items (and some "04" quirks). I'd second the suggestion to pony up .for something newer even it if had more miles, but I assume it's too late for that. (And PLEASE go easy on the caps.).

Moved to general discussion, since that's what this really is. If you have specific questions about performance mod parts or tires / wheels, feel free to post them in an existing thread in those sections. By all means, search! for great opinions and answers to questions that have been asked about this car for the last 4+ years.

get it first-drive it for awaile and then decide what you would like-the list is endless and so are the costs. my 06 6speed is pure stock and i love it that way. the rim selection can cost but some of the other member's look terrifc )enjoy it and many miles of safe motoring

maybe thats what i will do then.. im just anxious and excited .. it happens everytime i get a new car.. i personally like headturners for some reason so that would probly mean starting with the outside first.

I've recently changed all the interior bulbs and the license plate bulbs to LEDs on my '06. It's a subtle change but makes a world of a difference at the same time. These LEDs were my first mods and possibly my last - I'm quite happy with the stock look of my TSX. Even the stock rims are really nice.

I picked my TSX up about a year ago when I was 19 too. No regrets at all. I love this car and I'm sure you will too!

i just got my tsx. i would modify it in a heartbeat. sadly, there isn't much option for performance gain for the 07 yet.
