I just came back from my first trip to the gas station with my TSX. According to my calculations, I got 11.35L per 100 km. My car has just over 500 km on it (only 2 weeks old). Are these numbers similar to what you guys got on your first tank?

 

For sure...as a matter of fact, I'm up over 20,000 kms and in the city I'm still only getting between 9 & 11 L/100kms.

On the highway is a different story...I can get anwhere and 6.5 & 8 L/100kms.

 

I just got back from my first fill up as well!!
Managed to get 613KM out of it and filled up 57L for
number of 9.29L/100KM!!
25.5 MPG US gallons.

I've been quite impressed with the fuel efficiency of the TSX but we'll have to see what happens after the break in.

 

We got 29.76MPG on a trip that was 90% interstate driving between 65MPH and 85MPH. The previous fill was 65% in town and the MPG was 25.78. Milano Red TSX with automatic.

 

All city driving and you got 9.29L/100km? Wow! I have an automatic and I'm kind of surprised how the 6 speed manual is more fuel efficient than an automatic. How many km was on your car when you picked it up from the dealer? I had just under 5 km. Maybe my dealer didn't fill the tank to the top.

 

I remember my first fill up I got 371 miles on 13.5 gallons of a tank of gas when I got my TSX last summer. That is 27.5MPG. Since then its gone down a lot. Recently, I've been getting around 21-22MPG.

 

Yeah, I was quite suprised as well!
It had exactly 5km when I picked up the car last week.

Filled 57L for $54!!!!!!!!!!
