If nothing has changed, removing the negative terminal again and then installing it can reset the light. If after driving a few miles and the light turns back on, there's something wrong in which you should use a OBD scanner to check the code.

There is no code I could find resembling 15810. All engine codes are Pnnnn, where n is a number 0-9. If you can get correct code, write it down and post here for possible help.

If you're not happy w/ repairman's attitude, find another. Suggest checking w/ auto parts store and Angie's List.

good luck
