Anybody know what the "body painted door edge trim" is? Saw it in the accessories catalog for the tsx. No pics, though.

 

it is the molding that goes on the ege of the door si you dont chip the paint on other cars its that black strip on the edge of the door but acura paints the color of the car which is good cause i hate the black edge on like a white car..

 

I have it and I find it quite useful.. I have inconsiderate friends who always open my door widely, and bang the edge against the wall. That door edge trim is a 'life saver' for me.. ahhaha

 

i totally agree......i would get it in a second and it looks good cause it is painted the matching color....

Well, they did a good job matching the color, because I can't see a damn thing in those pictures.

I will try to post the pictures after this week. I am having lots of exams coming... Basically, it just looks like a piece of metal which matches your car color. It sticks onto the edge perfectly. There is no effect when my friend bangs the door against the wall. It was not a big bang though. But it prevents the car doors from getting scratches. And I guess that is important for car lovers like u and me! Get one man!
