So im looking to buy the competech header today and the best price ive found for it is $519 at this website, moda car, http://www.modacar.com/products/Acur...EA/header.html

now it says the competech header is for 04/05, i have an 06 tsx! is there gonna be a problem? and are they a reliable website?

Yeah, they should be reliable. I've actually been to their shop in person. It's probably about 45 mins from where I work. I'm not sure how fast they are on shipping though. I would call them and ask how long it will take to process the order. Hopefully they just drop ship from Comptech.

 

Check with Excelerate or MrHeeltoe here. Support our forum vendors first as they might cut you a deal.

Yeah, the 04/05 header fits on the 06 TSX.

An interesting thing in that Moda-car link is that list the DC header as being one piece. I haven't heard of a 1 piece version, so I think it's type-o though:

thx alot, i took moda ways advice and asked Excelerate if his price of $550 shipped is still availabe! might as well go with someone i know will be hassle free

 

Both are great vendors and again, see what he can do on price. Doesn't hurt to ask. I order my Comptech stuff from him, NEVER an issue.

I have dealt with both MrHeelToe and Excelerate and both are awesome vendors and all around great guys with good advice and go the extra mile to help get you hard to get parts. Plus you get the satisfaction of getting solid answers from both MrHeelToe and Excelerate personally as opposed to getting some random sales person or just an automated response. I order more from HeelToe since he is located closer to where I am from, however I ordered my RT cat from Excelerate and it came pretty quick, faster than my comptech parts I ordered direct from comptech. Same with HeelToe, I have ordered things and not had to pay for shipping and they always seem to make it here within 3 days or less.

So please do support the vendors here.

I've ordered stuff from Josh (Excelerate) and was given great service and fast shipping. I've also had Marcus (Heeltoe) do an install for me and he's a stand up guy and very knowledgeable. Can't go wrong with either.

We do have access the the full line of comptech and dc product. Be careful with comptech lately as parts seem to be fading in and out of availability. We are trying to keep our site up to date on it all.
