Cable dangling from car

I heard a tin/knocking noise under the passenger seat (where the passenger feet would be) on the highway every 45 seconds. I checked near the wheel and saw nothing. I then heard a much lounder sound (as if something like a tin can fell) and the sound stopped. I then checked under the car and saw a white cable hanging down (not cut/broken) with a black rectangular strap piece (which might have held the cable up).
Does anybody know anything about this!!!!?????
What could have hapenned??

I further checked the problem and noticed the cable dangling was not well covered by the plastic piece holding it up (which is also dangling).
I called acura service and they gave me an appointment right away. He made it sound as if it happens frequently.
Hope i get the car back today

I had something dangling too, but it was under the driver-side. The white plastic holder broke. I just cable tied it back to the mount. Don't recall what the cable was - probablly some wiring harness. Will look tonight.

Do you have any pic's?

Sorry no pics.
Just got back from the dealership. They ordered the plastic piece covering the wire (its in back-order). The wire was the oxygen sensor cable. They fixed it for now though until they get it back. I don't think they are going to charge me.

Sorry, only the American version has it. Our polluted cities require it....

This is odd. Mine did this too. It's the O2 sensor cover arm that keeps the sensor from detatching from being struck. Bulletin anyone...?
