i second that!

i'm not a fan... i'm glad i grabbed my 05 when i did... and just think... with the supply taken into account... there really aren't many out there... so the 04 and 05 will be quite unique!

Ditto. Only thing I'd want is the memory seat function and since I'm really the only driver, no use to me.

TB was up'd, intake up'd, exhaust up'd. Hondata on my 04 would equalize that for me.

Cams on both sides were redone, so that was nice to hear.

I thought these pics were going to p!ss me off, instead, I am glad I got an 05. Maybe I can just add the memory seats from it. Other than that, it looks like a mid life crisis car for some dumb blonde.

Good thing I got an '05. The front reminds me of the Toyota Solara...

I KNOW WHATS WRONG NOW!!!

keep looking at the car from the front. see the air dam and the fog light?
the Fog light is placed more inward.. narrower than the headlight, as a result, TSX is not a wide car to start with. the placing the fog light narrower make the car look even more narrow and skinny than it really is

at least thats what it appears to me.. opinions?

Looks like they tried to fuse the euro-r lip with the 04 bumper, thus, having the integrated look with the air dam still in place. IMO, it does not flow.

C'mon now guys -- its pretty much the same exact look with exception of the positioning of the fogs as Howard911s had noted. Well, that and the conservative rims.

The casual observer won't even be able to tell the difference between and 05 and 06.

I agree. it is overall a great car if not better. more options and better power than our 04 and 05... though I dont like the fog light /bumper and the rims.. it is overall a better car than 04-05...

not really in favor of the rims and the foglights placement. i was anticipating the rims ever since i heard it would be 9 spokes, but i like the current 7 spoke better (just my opinion).

i was afraid that the new design would be a much improvement of my '05 model. but i'm very relieved and happy with my '05.

WOW! The front grill and bumper now look aggressive. Its much improved over the boxy rdx style the old front had. The rear is not a good improvement. I like the old whiteout reverse lights. The rims are more rich looking and less boring. Good for being stock.

Cant wait to see it in person and make final judgements. Good job Honda. Improved on a car I thought it was impossible to improve!!! hehe.

It looks ugly now IMO because of the out of placed integrated foglights. Glad I have my 04.

I hope those fog lights are less brittle and better quality than the Acura OEM stuff for the 04/05's.

so ugly? Wow! You must not like the tsx because this is a tsx and looks pretty much the same. Just more refined and more aggressive.

Somehow the car looks more rich?

old front

new front

The new front looks cleaner/meaner

No it doesn't, the new bumper and foglights don't flow with the 5 point grill at all. I prefer the old design, maybe the newer design might grow on me.

Why can't they just use the euro looks / fog lights to the US?
I think that one looks way nicer than THIS.....

the TSX and RSX has just lost the younger generation of buyers though. I think a lot of people who would have stretched for either would be reallly willing to just go for the SI. I said it before and i'd say ita again, had this been 2 years ago, and i had to pick between this new TSX and the Si, hands down without a second though i'da bought an Si.

being 20 years old (18 when i bought my TSX) and no REAL need for a 4 door.

I think it is ok, but I am not feeling the new wheels. I also wanted to get a better picture of the steering wheel. I just couldn't see enough from the profile pic.

The old bumper looks too boxy and reminds me of the 80s. The revised front bumper reminds me of what Honda did when the updated the S2000 (except for the built-in fogs). I will admit they could have integrated the fogs better -- heck I question if the car really needs them since it has HIDs and all! As for rims, I never cared for the old ones because they were way too vanilla; they weren't sporty and they weren't really upscale either. At least these new rims are clearly upscale. I also really like the stock "body kit" like look. I know it is toned-down from the actual kit, but it's a lot better than what you got free (i.e. stock) before!

From the couple interior pics I've seen, I think they toned down the silver in the interior to make it look more like what is in the TL.

Well in reality the changes between the 04/05 and the new 06 are VERY small. Most people will not be able to tell the difference at all. If you say the 06 is ugly then you are saying the 04/05 is ugly as well. Let's face it, the cars are still 99.5% the same on the outside. The more substantial differences are inside the car. More HP, Bluetooth, Improved Navi, Mem seats, better warrenty... this car will definately outsell the 04/05 version. I certainly like the changes for 06 and hope to get one.

I will probably wait for the '06. I don't care for the wheels or body kit since I plan to "euro-R"ize it! I'm totally in love with the look of the Euro-R!

Anyway, the '06 engine seems a little bit better than the '05.

I have a bad feeling that the new 06 TSX owners in a few months will boast and act like show offs and say, haha aren't you 04 and 05 TSX owners jealous of us cause we have the memory seats, bluetooth, fog lights, and more hp.

Well, its is a newer model so it's hard for new owners not to show off their new vehicles. However, the new changes make the car look better and sportier.

Especially the taillight with smoked lense, much better than the current taillight.

But I don't think the 04/05 owners have to feel bad. They've got a great vehicle as well, simply with less features and slightly different due to the MMC. Just like everything else in life, the TSX needs to revolve and grow up. 2 years down the road, we're probably going to see a totally different TSX. It's going to be changed again.

The integrated fog-lights look much better in high-resolution pictures. I'm getting myself a 2006 definitely.

Well not exactly. When the re-design comes for the '09 TSX, then we will have the 2nd gen. This is still the 1st gen. TSX with a slight twist.

funny thing is since it doesnt appear that the headlights are different you could probably put the old bumper on and the old hood and call it a day.

Well I havent seen pics of the '06 euro r but the current kit wont fit so you would either have to get the 05 or a used 04 if you want to do the euro r conversion.
