I know, but there's a part that I really do hate on the '06 and it's the front grill. It look too streched. I don't really like it on the '05, but I hate it on the '06. Since the side skirt seems the same and I'm not sure that I would change the rear apron, I prefer to change the whole front bumper/front grill/front lip and having a car that I like. It's easier for me to work on the body that to play in the mechanic.

Call me nuts or stupid, but that's what I want! I know it implies and I'm fine with it.

WTF??? You can't edit your own post on this forum???

Anyway, it's not done yet. All I know is that I'll get a new car before december, but it's not a hurry, so I'll be able to think about all the opportunities... One think is 100% sure, I'll get ride of the Acura front grill no matter what MY I'll get! The big centerline and chrome surround break the sleek look of the front end. And I'm not a big fan of the fake air trap on each side of the bumper on both MY.

I'm planning to do some mods on my car, so it's not really a big deal to me, I'm already ready to put extra money on it.

I would like to have some of the new features, but I like the old front end and rims better.

Come on guys....we're all Acura owners. It's the same damn car with a few new tweeks...Geeeesh. We should all be glad that they at least made some changes no matter how small to differentiate it from the previous years styling whether you like the changes or not.If your buddy buys an 06 are you really gonna cut him to pieces for buying such an "ugly" car? To say that this car is butt ugly or that it makes you puke just sounds like you have buyers remorse for not waiting till this year. It funny how the mind works.

I'm just not a fan of the new wider grill, maybe the new mugen sport grill will fix all the ills of it for me? The nose reminds me of the last gen TL-S.

I'll hold judgement on the new wheeld until I see them in person. But it appears you might be able to swap the nose for the Mugen unit?

Like the Accord the new look will grow on me, but I always loved the 04/05, I don't want to warm up to an 06......

Well, given the new look and little interior change I'm quite pleased still that I went with the CPO '04.

You guys are crazy. The 06 front is way better than the old one. The 05 looks tall and narrow. Widening the grill on the 06 along with the changes in the bumper give the appearance that the car is lower and wider than before. And to Howard who said the fogs need to be spaced out more...that would look weird and wouldn't necessarily make the car look wider.

Anyone who ownes the TSX already will call the 06 ugly. Its how kids are.

I have a bad feeling that the new 06 TSX owners in a few months will boast and act like show offs and say, haha aren't you 04 and 05 TSX owners jealous of us cause we have the memory seats, bluetooth, fog lights, and more hp
Also...This guy sounds like hes 12. Oh god why must TSX owners be idiots!!! Its very dissappointing.

I was hoping for normal response. 04/05 owners may truely not like the 06 but still calling it ugly and puke is rediculous. 4-5 people wont be able to tell the difference.

I think it is fair to say that the 06 looks pretty good because its not TOO different from the 04 or 05's. I still like my 05 over the 06. The grille and lines of the 05 make the car look more agressive compared to the 06,.......where the 06 looks a little more family sedan tame to me,...accordish if you will. I think softening up the slightly more angular look of the 04's and 05's for 06 will appeal less to people my age in their 20's. The fog lamp area does not flow as others have said as well.

The subtle differences are barely noticeable.

The worst change are the rims, but fortunately it's the easiest part to change.
Unfortunately, they are also one of the most expensive.

Also, I'm happy to see the EPA rated fuel economy to be the same, despite the added power.

Unforunately, they did not revise the 6MT gearbox with a taller final gear ratio.

Am I the only one that wants an 06? Minus the rims. I think that it will grow on you all. I would trade but I have put too much in my car. It took me a while to like the looks of the 04 TSX. I would like to see how honda plans to add a body kit. It already looks alot like the kit from the TL.

I think having the fogs relocated would be good for those with cold air intakes. It would allow for more air if the cover/trim was removed or replaced with ones that are perforated?
As for the rims, I have not replaced mine but have always dreamed of doing so. For some, they will most likely replace it anyway so it may not be enough for them to rule out the 06 design.

Things I'm glad was done with the 06:
Bluetooth
Memory seats
Upgraded navigation software
Small bump in power

Things I wish they did with the 06:
Better seats
A tad smaller steering wheel

I can barely see the difference; it's not enough to make me sell my 04 TSX. On the other hand, I don't buy cars often so it has no effect on me.

like psteng19 said a taller sixth gear would be nice. I still don't like the 3700rpm at 80. Hopefully there are some good changes for 07 cause that new car time for me.

It looks more like a civic now. Fatter looking to me. The interior has been improved yet again. What is that i button on the steering wheel? I don't have that on my TL!

the part i hate the worst is the grill and the way the hoodline is so noticible the entire way across. I like before how they used the hood trim as the top of the grill instead of putting a silver piece at the top of the grill and going the entire way across. To me the gap between the grill and the hood now stands out way to much but like you said to the general no car enthusiest they probably wont really notice.

i like my 04 better, but the 06 isn't that bad. the fog lights look better on the 04/05 but the biggest problem i have is with the rims. more power and features make me wish they put off an exterior design change for one more year.

the only thing marketers and researches had to do was visit az....

I do agree, those wheels and front bumper are kinda off, but I gotta love the interior features and bluetooth and added engine modifications for more power

i'd like to see some dynos of the 06 to see exactly how much more power (and where on the plot) it's making over the 04/05 models. I'm very interested how it stacks up against a hondatafied 04!

Sort of interesting to see that the current IS300 has the foglights located on the outter side of the bumper and the '06 TSX is opposite.

did acura just think the fogs look better where they put it? or maybe they had a good reason?

What I'm interested in seeing is if they finally got on the boat for showing RDS (Radio Data Service) or even ID tags for the MP3 player or even adding it to the CD player.

If they did, then I'm interested in seeing how some of you guys are going to switch out the '06 Center Dash and put it into the '05 or even '04 (if possible).

After seeing the 2006 pics, the decision to get the 2006 or 2005 was an easy one. I called the dealer right away and bought the 2005! I picked up my 2005 TSX this morning and it's BEAUTIFUL!!! I got a car that looks like an Acura instead of a Honda with the Acura emblem! They even threw in the fog lights for me. And it looks a whole lot better than the weirdly placed fog lights in the 2006! So glad I didn't wait!!! Got it pretty much at invoice too! Beat that 2006!

I won't pile on about the exterior changes but do the numbers on the gauges bother anybody else?

That italic bullshit looks much lower market to me. Even GM--GM for cryin' out loud--has got sharp, legible numbers on the guages.

This is a big deal to me since I see the interior of the car 100% of the time.

yeah I agree with you. I think they were trying to make them look more like the TL's gauges. I love our gauges the way they are, easily legible and with a purpose. The only thing I want is the new display info display with maintence info.

What about taking a crap? You can do everything else inside but crapping has to be done outside....
