my prediction:
2005:
xm
power passenger seat
possibly reverse tilt down passenger side mirror
possibly swap out MSM for a dark red
2006:
IMA option (one year AFTER the IMA accord V-6 makes the technology more feasible/ less expensive w/ its volume sales)
let's face, it the car is begging for the extra torque...and it's got the handles to carry it...
-z-tec, who hasn't seen a good junkster signoff in a while...

Well You will get a power passenger seat and XM Radio. You will have to wait til 06 for more HP. Haven't seen anything on colors but would seriously doubt we would have 2 reds. Although there is a different red in the RL so Icould see that replacing the Milano Red. price changes have not been given to us yet for any 05s.

The RDX will be a SUV, but a car based one. These days Hondas small car chassis (Civic,RSX, CRV, Element) and the Mid-Sized chassis (Accord, TL, TSX, Odyssey, MDX , Pilot) are more flexible than ever! There is a certain amount of swaping between cars, allowing the new CR-V to use the Accord engine (K24) even though the chassis is still Civic based.

Also, the IMA that Honda is/will be pushing is mainly for it less fuel efficient V6s not 4 cyl models. In almost all cases manufacturers are adding IMA for milage improvements not HP increases.

I dont think I woudl subscribe to XM radio anyways. It is really all that good?
I dont care about power passanger seats, it will just be more weight on the car. I also dont care about memory seats because my seat gets slammed all the way to the back anyways.
But if there is a power increase of 20 hp or more, i may just need to trade my car in

There are only two things that I'm waiting on for a future TSX...
The wagon to arrive in our market...
AWD...
In that order. I would love the Euro Accord wagon... looks kinda boxy, but in a good way.
Junkster, whose a wagon freak

- one or two exterior color changes
- power passenger seat (useless addition of weight IMHO)
- XM radio
- maybe a couple of small optional items become standard (like the cargo net, etc.)
I also think the MSRP will stay the same, but they always bump up the destination charge some. I myself hope Acura adds a memory function on the driver's seat becuase that would make my next car buying decision much easier. If they don't then I'll be doing a lot of cross shopping the fall!

IM a proud owner of a new (8/11) carbon gray/ebony with nav, out the door at just over 30 here in southern california with a few extras. My dealer told me that the only 2 new features in 2005 in the TSX are the power passenger seat and the bluetooth feature.
Just thought I would add my .02.

Well i'm glad i got my 04 then and got a great deal.....because XM not something i need........the passenger can move their own seat if they really want it moved......and even in cleveland heated mirrors are not something that i'm going to wait another 2 months to get..
Now if we were talking a Type S, or even just 20-30-40 more HP and LB-FT.......THEN there would be some issues!!!

I don't have a delivery date yet, although they are going to a meeting later this week and they think they will be told the delivery dates of all the 05's. Also, we don't know the exact pricing , but pricing is not expected to change much, mayb 2%. I made my deal based on paying $1000 over invoice.

XM may not be important for some folks, but we have it on another vehicle and love it. By the way, the XM service is 9.95 per month for one car, but 6.95 per month for each additional up to a total of 4 I think.

I would like to see auto up/down on the power passenger's window.
As everyone else has already stated, power pass seat would be nice, as would memory seating and at least one tilt-down mirror, and finally lighted steering wheel controls. Heated mirrors are no big deal to me, but I do think it's odd that the RSX has them while the TSX does not.
I would be happy to pay another $600 for that, and I think that would be fair and typical of Acura price increases.

I'm with you on the auto up/down passenger window. I don't know why Acura/Lexus have such an issue with it. Infiniti has all auto up/down on G35 and so does BMW on 3 series.
I would also like a slight boost in power since RSX is up to 210 for 05. Can't have less than the RSX, although RSX needs it to compete.

It's bizarre... it's such a cheap part, and such a cheap relay. It's even more bizarre that Acura decided to go ahead and put them on the pass door of the TL, but not the rears? Hmmm... that's just odd.
If it awards better PERCEPTION of value without requiring that much more REAL value, then why not? it's the smart thing for the automaker to do (increased profits)!

It may be a safety issue, very much the same way Acura didn't include the window roll-up feature on the remote.
I don't think it's really that dangerous, but Honda always seems to err on the side of caution with this kind of thing, so it seems plausible.
