2005 TSX released tomorrow (10/26)!
Seeing someone from the board already got the 2005 brochure, I went to acura.com and ordered a TSX brochure, thinking by this time they should've switched to the new one. So today I was excited to find the Acura package in my mail, but was quickly disappointed by the fact that I now own 2 identical 2004 TSX brochures.
So I called Acura to let them know I really wanted the 2005 edition. The guy said it's not yet available, and I went on to ask if he knows when the 2005 TSX will be released. He then replied saying it looks like it's going to be October 26th. That means it's tomorrow! I don't know if this is already a repost but I don't remember hearing about an official release date. Guess we'll find out tomorrow morning!

Please stop it with the Misinformation ... The 2005 TSX will have exactly the same HP 4 cylinder engine and 200HP.
My friend Sum Lo who works at the factory in Sayomo, JP has told me that the only changes for 2005 will be weight related. The 2005 Willl have a fiberglass body and carbon fiber seats. Suspension parts and drive shaft are being made out of hollowed titanium tubing with a graphite honeycomb inside. The battery will be LI_ION, good for 500 cycles. Also he says the plastic composite they used for the intake manifold last year worked so well that this year the engine will be cast using it. He says the 2005 TSX will have also curb weight under <500lbs.
My friend who is a dealer and sells hundreds of TSXs a month has given me a brocuhure in advance, on the condition that I not post it here. The only dealer-options for '05 are the self sealing fuel tank, roll cage, and something called "Street Fighter" HUD.
Hope this helps.

The brochure says says ... "Using HUD display technology once the domain of fighter aircraft, Windshield Street Figheter will add a powerful exclusive 8-bit gaming dimension to your travels. Using the ergonomic AcuraLink(tm) Illuminated Steering Wheel Paddleshifters you control Kozmo as he battles the legions of Gamaron while minimizing driver distraction."

The way some of you guys drive, a roll cage will probably come in handy. I don't know what a street fighter HUD is, but I think I want one....

Still shows all the MSRP for all 2005 Acura models but the TSX. I still predict little to no change in the MSRP (at least for the 6MT here in the US).

Ody is ugly??? Don't make me ban yo asses
But I understand ... when a van smokes the 5AT TSX ... folks get nutty
Seriously - for a family man ... I couldn't ask for more than a TSX 6MT + Ody Touring RES/Navi combo
It will tide me over until the next gen TSX gets here in '08
