I was wondering if anyone has the manual for their '06 scanned in PDF format or know where I can get one? I think it would be a pretty handy file to have....

This question pops up once in a while. I haven't seen any electronic versions of the manual so you have to scan it in yourself. If you're asking for the Helms manual then whoever posts scans of that manual could potentially be open to a copyright lawsuit.

 

I'm referring to the manual that comes with the car. Most car manufacturers make the electronic version of the manual freely available to download on their websites for the owners. As a previous Infiniti owner, there was a way for verified owners to log in and have access to or download the manual for their model. I believe it's the same story with Mercedes as well...

As a Merceds owner too, I can definitly tell you they don't provide you with shit.

You can get any info you could possible desire from Mercedes StarTek online, from manuals to electrical diagrams, but its costs an arm and both legs. $18/day, or $300/month, or $2950/year, pick your poison. I've never wasted more money in a short amount of time than on that car.

 

I like that idea, however I don't know about any legal problems if we did it invidually....I'm sure any of the guys will scan you pages that you may want.

 

Um... dind't your 06 at least come with a paper version though?

I guess he just has to have an electronic version on his PC

I know people who'd much rather read from a monitor screen than from paper.

 

He may also want to have an electronic version for easier lookups. I believe Adobe Reader allows .pdf files to be searched.
