Thumbs up 0-100kph in 7.6 - 6mt

I found this interesting article on a New Zealand website- seems to suggest best launch figures are with VSA off.

Interesting comparison. For any type of performance driving you will definately want VSA turned off.

Here's was interesting to me anyway. The Canadian dollar is pretty much on par with the Aussie dollar. $35,000 AUS gets you $34,433 CAD.

A Mazda 6 4 Cyl tops out at around 31 or 32 CAD. and at $40K AUS ? And that Accord is $35K while our TSX is $35K CAD. Sucks to live in Australia I guess.

And that Accord has EBD? why don't we

And notice the Mazda has a 3 year unlimited KM warranty, thats pretty nice. The Accord gets 3 year 100K we get 3 year 60K??? Can't have it all I guess.

Mazda 6 starts at around $30k AUD in Australia. The model in the article was the luxury which includes leather, Bose stereo, sunroof, etc.

Import car prices in Australia are generally more expensive than Canada or US due to our tax system. For example, I think the BMW M3 in the USA is around $50,000 USD. In Australia we pay the equivalent of around $100,000 USD due to luxury car taxes, etc.

Yes, the Accord Euro has EBD and brake assist.

No - it doesn't suck to live in Australia.

I did'nt mean it sucks to live in Australia, I meant sucks to buy a car in Australia.

I can't wait to visit Australia, beautiful place from what I've seen and heard. Australia intrests me because of the vast wildlfe you have, be it on land or in the sea. Plan to one day go see some Great Whites, if there are any left.

And the people there from what I understand are very similar to us Canadians, at least thats the impression I get.

And my favorite show is the Crocodile Hunter

Cdn prices for Mazda6 are $25k for a base I-4 5MT, to $33k for a loaded V6 - AT, leather, Bose, skirts, spoiler, etc.

I will now add EBD and BA to my wish list of "Euro Accord stuff that Acura should sell as options for the TSX" - EBD, BA, headlight washers, fob in key, side mouldings, rain sensing wipers, cubby next to VSA switch... did I miss anything?
