Took my 3.2 to the mechanic, he took it for a test drive and said that the jerking motion I was feeling was the tranny mounts. I'm having a friend who is a mechanic replace the mounts. Has anyone else replaced the mounts and if so did it help with the acceleration off the line? I'm worried if I really get on it I'll blow the mounts or worse. If someone has a step by step on the replacement that would be very helpful Thanks alot and happy thanksgiving everyone!

It could be the mid mounts. There is only one tranny mount but 5 engine mounts.
