i got mine done at the dealership at the same time as the emissions thing. if you do go to the tranny shop, make sure they use honda transmission fluid.

Hey FastHarry,
You should read the "Clean you transmission screen!!!" thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/fs-liteglo-headlight-strobes-116236/

The posts towards the end in that thread will answer your question. To precisely answer your question, Clune has quoted in that thread "If I am correct, the dealership does not do a power flush. Atleast they are not suppose to Per Honda/Acura. They will do a drain and fill 4 times to get all the old transmission fluid out. There are a bunch of posts here to do it yourself and you should definitley use the geniune honda ATF(Lots of posts on this topic also). "

I believe that other tranny shops generally use a machine to power flush the tranny fluid.
Hope that helps!

i, myself, had the 'flush' done at the dealership. more expensive and what not, but the good thing is...the work is warrantied for a year. that is about the only good thing about dealerships...they have to stand behind their work. so i guess you get a bit of something for the extra money...even if it is a lot extra.
