TL Windshield Wiper Problem

So, I have a '96 TL, and recently, the LEFT windshield washer jet stopped working. The right one still works fine, however the left one produces no wiper fluid.

So I was wondering if anyone had expierenced similar problems, or how much/how one could go about fixing this problem.

Thanks a lot

Hose came off?? Open the hood and see if there's a kink in the hose or it came off completely.

The nozzles will sometimes block up w/ calcium deposits or debris in the windshield fluid. I use a fine wire to clean and an air hose to blow out any debris.

good luck

If the hoses arent clogged like what texas honda was saying use a brush or a pin and insert it in the holes and move it round and round. car wax also can build up in the jet holes be careful not to scratch the paint when doing it and follow up with some compressed air .Hope we can help

Followup:

It turned out that the holes were indeed clogged up...

I tried things like a paperclip to stick it up there and clean it out, but the holes are insanely small.

Thus, I figured it was calcium, so i took the small jet and stuck it in a cup of vinegar/water solution for about 30 minutes, and it worked....!

Thanks for the help,
Kyle

I recently had both windshield washer pumps on my 99 Subaru Forestor out. I removed tank and pumps to examine the pumps. I found both motors had normal winding resistance, but would only click when 12V was applied. I was considering flushing some vinegar through them but decided to first "slam" the flat bottom side down on my work bench. Amazingly, this procedure fixed both pumps and they are still working after 2 weeks of use.

regards
