Tcs-abs-brake Wtf?

I was driving this morning to go wash my car and for some reason my brake light kicks on, ok so I pay it no attention and on my way back from the carwash my abs and tcs lights come on, i believe somn is wrong here as they are all similar and have something to do with my wheel area, please let me know if you have seen or had this issue and its fix...thanks

Well... TCS works off the ABS speed sensors that monitor wheelspin... and your brake light would be for your side-brake... Could be the sensors are shot, or the fuses are out... Other than that, no clue.

Was your parking brake on?

If so that goofs up the wheel sensors. The TCS and ABS use those sensors to do their job.

So most likely its a parking brake problem, its probably stuck.

I've had it happen to me - even when left on slightly it screws up the sensors and within a mile, both TCS and ABS lights will illuminate.

EDIT: Solution is to release parking brake!

That happened to me a year ago. I replaced my pads (They were low) and if went away. Could it be a warning for low pads?
