Tail light stays on!

On my 96 tl 3.2. i noticed today after getting home from work that my tail light was on after i parked and cut the car and lights off. Had to pull the 20amp fuse to get them to go off so not to dain the battery.

What could cause my tail light to stay on?

I know rotors was almost under spec. when i did my last brake job. Will this make the tail light stay on if they were to go under spec.

By the way no CEL is on nor brake light.

Thanks for any advice in advance!

Check your brake switch, if it's bad your cruise will not work.

theres a little plastic tab that you can get from the dealer for two dollar that broke. The tab pushes the brake switch basically telling it to turn off the lights.

phuq, I paid 40 bucks for some dude to fix it a few yrs ago. If it happens, take off a battery terminal before you leave the car. this will turn off the light. if it stays on for hrs, it will drain your battery - just a FYI

I need Help please!

I have a 1996 integra LS 4 door sedan. just bought it. but i have a big issue with my tail lights and dashboard....:/ everything works fine, but when i turn lights on, it seems like im pressing the brake pedal...... when the light are off, i press break pedal and tail lights come on like normal. but when the lights are on, the taillight appear as if im pressing the break pedal, but im not.....???? they dont stay on like other typical issue that others have. mine go off when i turn them off and they stay off. but when i turn the light on, i repeat. it seems like im always pressing the brake pedal. so people behind me dont know when i brake. this is my daily driver. i hope you guys can help. thank you so much. in advance. oh and i already replaced the break switch....so it aint that.
