Noise like an antenna going up and down

at a stop light? probably when ur coming to a brake, ur abs pump is building pressure and thus making that sound. does ur abs light come on? that sound is definetly ur abs, having it come on once after turning on ur car is normal...but if more, not normal..keep me updated, ive been through this so i can help u
I went through 3 ABS modulators on my old '96 Accord from a similar sounding issue. They NEVER figured out what it was. It was replaced twice under warranty and once out of my own pocket for about $1100. Good luck, friend.
Turns out the ABS modulator was a sub-system of the brake system, so I couldn't "take it off" and do without it

Hmm, well you should probably ask someone else. I am having some issues right now with my replacement, but the pump should cost about $300, plus a new filter, and the install should be about an hour to an hour-and-a-half. Texashonda might be able to give you a better estimate. I would get it checked out first before self-diagnosing though because it will be about $500.
Also, did it make that noise before? Like when you test drove it? The reason I ask is because you probably have an aftermarket fuel pump in the car. The pump will work fine, the noise is just very annoying.
