Just curious how many miles to the gallon everyone is getting who has a 96 acura tl

 

i got a 98 3.2 and i was getting SH*T mileage!!! like 11-13 a gallon. i treated my system three times with some stuff from Autozone (guy who i know personaly said BMW Dealers use it idk nor care lol) then just did a transmission drain/fill. Im up to about 16 - 17 now around town which i wont bitch about.

 

highway driving i get 23.5mpg only if i do 60-70mph

city it drops to 16-18 mpg but depending how i drive

ive been taking care of my car so i think it pays off in the end. this is a 2.5L btw

also it has 185,000 miles on it and still running strong.. LOTS of swet went into that car

 

Last tank was 28.7 mpg

 

My last tank was 22.4mpg. One more fillup and the car isn't mine anymore.

But I can report later how much I'll get with the Accord I'll be picking up sometime next week.

 

I'm getting 23-24 most tanks now, with some mixed highway/town driving, and really mixed driving styles

 

i usually get 300miles with a quarter tank left.... i just changed the fuel filter yesterday.. so we will see if this improves or not... with the prices of gas these days, need to save where we can huh... fuel filter was $27 OEM... those who haven't done it, it took me 10 mins...

 

20-25 mpg... i have a light foot

 

Alright...my last...I mean the car is gone last tank of gas went 20.43mpg.

Look on the bright side, I'm totally looking forward to mid 20's to 30's mpg with the new Accord.

 

Peak was 19.8MPG, on one tyre running low on air was 15MPG... Last night 19.08.

I've had low of 17MPG in the winter and high of 22MPG in the summer with some highway mixed in. I normally get around 20MPG. Also I'm pretty agressive with my driving so I'm sure I could get closer to 25 if I tried hard enough.
