Cool tranny

So ive been researching, seems the 3.2TL has a tupperware transmission. Most problems seem due to excess heat buildup and dissipation.
Does anyone use any sort of additive to cool things a bit?
Im almost afraid of driving this thing now, and I thought the 3.2 was one of the most reliable cars out there. Am I worrying for no reason?

The '00 and newer models have tranny problems. I haven't heard anything that's bad from the 1st gen trannies.

You are worrying for no reason.

The 2000 - 2003 TL has the unreliable transmission.
