i was rewiring my amp in my 96 2.5 tl and i upgraded from 8 gauge to 4 guage, after i finished wiring the car it would not start so we tried jumping it, it started once it was jumped but was running very wierd as the speakers hit all my lights got really really dim and my abs light kept going on and off which already has been on for months now my face kept going on and off so i turned it off and took the car for a ride when i got back i turned the car off and it wouldnt start again we jumped it again and got it to my friends house and we tested the battery it was low so everyone thought it was the battery today i bought a brand new one and it is still not starting no click nothing please help if you have had this problem before its a bad time for me im low on cash and i have to get to school everyday

 

................................ <- Your'e missing a few of those... But unplug your system and go from there. Something is probally goofed in the wiring.

 

thanks for the tip, we tried doing everything with the system disconnected from the battery and the face off , and its still not working. i am going to try and get it looked at by my mechanic and see if we pulled a battery cable loose or something thanks for the reply

 

we fixed the problem it ended up being that the battery terminal wasnt touching enough it was on as tight as possible but the ring itself wasnt tight so we bent it and hammerd it on and it starts no problem

 

There's always a simple explanation some serious issue........
