Best Oil?

I have a 96 2.5 TL with 171,000 miles and it still runs great. My problem is I do have a rear main seal leak and I've been using Mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic which seems to be the best oil I've ran in it but my problem is it seems the oil leaks quicker than past oils I've used. Does anyone recommend an oil that is still good for a car with this many miles that will make the engine still run almost as good as the Mobil 1 does?

Try something thicker like 10W40.

well I'm already using 10W30 and the car calls for 5W30 and I would get the seal fixed but it's like a $800+ job due to the labor involved and I dont want to fork out that kind of money on a car that might blow right after that haha

Try the stop lea they sell around...they might work for you.

Tried it for a long time with my 1995 Camry, it helped. Slowed down the main seal leak. Up until it was hit by this old lady and it was RIP.
