Has anyone else had to fix this or problems with it?

 

I had to change the switch that tells whether the brake is on once. I couldn't shift into drive without inserting the key in the center console. It was a pretty easy fix. I dunno about a neutral safety switch though.

I'm having the same problem. Car would start if I rowed the shifter a few times and put it into park with vigor. Now it won't unless I undergo the same exercise for 30 seconds. I imagine the cable that works the switch has gotten excessive slack.
