does anyone know how to add remote to power locks?

all the kits i saw on ebay are sold with actuators.. something i already have..
i thought of wiring in a receiver to the drivers door that would trigger lock, and if held longer all locks..

the theory makes sense to me... but, would it work? and what would you guys think i need?

 

u dont need to add actutators since our cars already have power locks. All u need to add is a keyless entry system - this will wire up to the master power lock switch and control all 4 locks simultaneously. type keyless entry in ebay, and u shoudl get PLENTY of hits.

What car do u have, 2.5 or 3.2? 3.2's already have a security system with alarm built in. If its a 3.2, all u need to do is buy urself a remote off ebay/dealer/somewhere, and ur good to go.

If a 2.5, i think that 96 and 97 had a dealer installed accessory alarm or something, and 98s had standard keyless.
