Smile 2.5/3.2 Swap

Ok so my 2.5 only has around 79,000 miles give or take a thousand, I'm not home to check the odometer but I have a 3.2 TL that I bought as a parts car, basically I was going to dye the interior and do a 5 lug conversion. The 3.2 has 141,000 miles. It seems there isn't much I can do with the 2.5 (mods). So does anyone know how much work would be needed to swap out my 2.5 for the 3.2? If its too much work then I'll just leave the 2.5 in there.

Too much work, and 141 is still young!

Thats a lot of work. You'd be better off swapping a manual from a Vigor

The tranny will, but it's a matter of space on the firewall for the clutch pedal. I think you 2.5s have it, but I'm not sure.

Also, will the shifter match the shifter plate in the center console? If those don't line up, it could create hassle.

Best of luck! A manual-shift 2.5TL could be some great fun.

I'm sure a few Vigor trim pieces can be swapped.
