Wohooo!!! Head is fixed!

Well, just got off the phone from the wreckers and they say machine shop was able to fix up the head NO PROBLEM. I am SOO exited...should be getting it back tomorrow and then dropping my car off on Saturday!!! If all goes well (and I should know that it won't) I will have my car back up and running by the following weekend!! (Minus the type II ecu, I think I am just going to break down and buy a stock Type II and get the Bayou later). I'm gonna go order one from car-part right now!!

For all of you out there who care!! :P LOL I just spoke with the wreckers, the head looks good, they are delivering it to the shop tomorrow. Should get the motor back together this week then drop the car off early next week. If all goes well I will FINALLY be rolling again in a couple of weeks!! WOHOOOO!!!!! Then I won't feel like FRIGGIN IDIOT anymore!!!

I want to dyno it before and after the ECU change. I think I am just going to grab a stock Type II ECU for now, as I this project has gone WAYYYY over budget already and While a Bayou will cost me $500 (cdn)I can get a stock type II for about $100 shipped up here as there don't seem to be any stock of them around here.

OK, This who thing is turning into the Nightmare from hell. Buddy finally got around to looking at my head and they are saying it's no good AND now it looks like it has been dropped and now won't seat properly!!! F@#$!!! I don't know what I am going to do have to take the f%$#'n thing back tomorrow and see if I can get them to do anything. At this point I REALLY don't know what the h e double hockey sticks to do. I am SOOOO pissed off. 3 months without my car and now I'll probably just end up TRYING to get my money back and just doing the damned head gasket on my TL's original motor. MAYBE I will try and have them just replace this type II with an RL motor and just drop it in AS IS. In any case now I will have to sell about $800 worth of gaskets, water pump, timing belt etc. that I won't be able to return. I will probably just put them up on the Legend forum and see what I can get for them. EIther way I am gonna loose soo much money on this goddam deal. Life sux. I wanna sell this damned car soo bad now but I can't get anything for it needing a head gsaket the way it sits.... WHAT DO I DO!!???
