Question Tweeters not working with new Head Unit. Help?

I have read a little about this problem but I can't seem to find out why all four Tweeters are not working. I have a 98 Acura TL With the two tweeters up above, and two on the dash. The Alpine Head Unit was professionally put in and they can't even figure it out. If I can find out what needs to be done, the good poeple who installed it said they would be happy to make the tweeters work for me. Please let me know what needs to be done. Thanks a bunch. - Nick

Those aren't tweeters above your head, the actual tweeters aren't that loud so you might just not notice them. There's a few threads where I've instructed people how to how those up, do a search for "Dome Speakers" and you'll see them. Your "professional" installation shop doesn't sound so professional. Why do you think there was that extra harness? Why do you think that ever since that was disconnected, the dome speakers don't work? Ask them to put 2 and 2 together.

there is a blue socket behind your stock unit. that blue plug hooks up the dome ones.

1.5" midranges. Used for centre staging and surround effect. Basically, if you were at a concert, the car simulates your being in the second or third row. Tweeters can be almost any size, as I've seen 3" ones. I've had 2" ones with 8" mids and 15"subs connected to my lighting cage next to lasers and what not.

Nick, that's how I am sometimes, so sorry if I came across to be harsh.

So I'm pretty sure that the tweeters on the dash are working but you can barley hear them anyways. The midranges are not working at all so I will need to take the car in with a printout of this little chat so the "pros" can make it work right. Thanks guys

In them, I showed a picture of the resistor needed and explained some other things. Good luck.
