Hey everyone! I've got a thing my 98 3.2 does, not an issue but if I'm flooring it, the car wont shift to the next gear, it will just hold 6k rpm until I let off, then it shifts. Also it doesn't redline. Not in park, neutral, in gear, it wont redline. If I hold the pedal down, it'll stop at 6k and slowly climb to 6.4k and not hit limiter. Regular driving it shifts amazing. What do I need to look at to fix this issue?

 

To start, what maintenance have you done (e.g. fluids)?

 

I have done full trans fluid flush (Castrol Multi-Vehicle Import Type Z1), new shift solenoids, new (90k miles) valve body, Differential fluid (80w90 SAE) and radiator/coolant. It did all that before the transmission work, thats why I had done the transmission work.
