Rev limiter
Rev limiter
Hi new to this forum, but frequent poster at .
I wanted to know about the Rev limiter for the 3gen tls
I have an 05 TL AT and I wanted to know at what speed is the rev limiter placed for the car? Also what is the top speed? Also, when you are in sportshift mode I know it wont let you down shift if it causes the car to redline, (for example on the highway in 3rd gear pushing 6000 rpms and wanting to shift down to 2nd) the number flashes indicating you cant down shift, smart invention by the honda ppl imo. But newho, lets say im in 2nd (or any gear for that matter) and I wanted to take it to redline, when I do this what is the cars response? Will it let me drive it into redline ( i hope not) or will it automatically upshift me? or will it just stop at 6800 rpms?
I was just curious and wanted to see what you guys have found while experimenting with th car. Any feedback appreciated thnx!
