I'm thinking on getting tint, but I'm concerned about the back with the little dots. Will the tint bubble cuz of the little dots? I went to a tint place here in VA and they told me that it'll look milky cuz the dots in acuras/hondas are bigger than other manufacturers????---> So does anyone have flawless tint installed in the back? or is it impossible to have good tint in the back because of the little dots??????

 

The only time I realize mine is not perfect is when I am standing outside looking at the rear window...otherwise I am alright with it. I also did not pay all that much for it so I really can't complain. Need a pic? I will try to take one today and post it.

I have no problem with my tint beside the back tint cause a little flare while driving at night. I love my very light sky blue mirror tint on my black car.

 

yeah it is really hard to prevent the bubles from coing up but the rest is flawless and they even did a 1 piece rear window (which most plces cant do so they use two pieces and most of the time the gap will get notiable over time...

No but that would be a good idea I don't think you can see it. However the gap with the bumpy circles will be more noticeable with the mirror tint because it'll be the only part not reflecting on all the windows.

 

i have 20% onyx tint by madco it is basically a mix of regular tint and mirror on a sunny day you see nothing and at night yu can see images but its still dark

My bro bro has 5% on his 2.5TL, looks very sweet.

 

they are the diffroster lines... the reason they are soo bright is cause i used the flash so that it would stand out

 

my ride has gone through 2 tint jobs already. and vevry time that i have had it done, the top of the rear glass gets better. i think that the next time it will be perfect.

hey acurasnake, i hear LA Tint rips you off....I went to some place up around wheaton for a lot less...less than 200 at least. in va/dc/md legal tint is 35%. Surprised that no one will do less than that for you. I got 20....

here in jersey you cant have tint on the front windows... ive had it on since may (got my license) and havent had any problems.only been pulled over twice (knock on wood)he asked about the tint and i just shrugged my shoulders.

i have lumar 20% all around paid 160......the windsheild is 50% 3m charcoal that costed me 100......worth every penny though.

can the cops tell the difference between a 20% tint and 28%(legal limit)?.........visually, i don't think so, but i have heard that many of the narcos are carrying handheld tint meters. BTW the legal limit is 35% for passenger cars (such as our cool rides)


The tint on the front windshield is illegal right, but can anybody tell and have you ever got pulled over for it?.........yes, it is pretty obvious, at night even more so. i was questioned once about my windsheild during the holidays, but just questioned......the narco probably had more important things to do....IE coffee, cigs, donuts....ect....LOL

i paid $159 for 15% on the rear and back windows, 28% for the front <--FL law says so...i got the 3M titanium tint: slightly mirrored in the daytime and at nite, you can see shadows inside the car...damn, i love tint!

 

My bro got 5% all around on his 2.5 TL for $150. Hes been pulled over 4 times since then for speeding, and none of the cops have ever said anything about the tint.
