tail light removal???
tail light removal???
heyo, i have searched for details on tail light removal and have come up short. It is probably very easy but i was wanting a thorough/well done job. Any help would be fantastic. I am trying to take off to red out then tint. ill post pics if successful.
there are 4 nuts that you have to take off. when you're looking into the trunk, on the left and right sides there are parts of the carpet that cover the back of the tail lights. you'll need to pull back that carpet and under there you'll see 4 nuts, 1 on each corner of the light. the one on the bottom corner furthest away from you is kind of awkward to get to though but once you get those off, you just pull the light out.
are you going to take the reverse/turn signal lens out and then paint that red? i'm just giving you fair warning that if you take your lights apart, it's very easy to break them and our lights aren't cheap. anyways, good luck.
