Can anyone tell me how to get to the fuel pump of a 1998 tl 2.5.

 

1) Remove fuel tank
2) Remove fuel pump mounting nuts on outside of tank
3) Remove fuel pump from fuel tank
4) Install in reverse order.

I would suggest purchase or download of a manual to have pictures and detailed guidance on each step.

Fuel pumps on Acuras are pretty tough. Why do you think the fuel pump is bad? I would suggest checking that power is supplied to the fuel pump and pump is not working before removing the pump. If no power suspect, main fuel relay or keyswitch.

Thanks texas honda i am not replaceing the pump i want to clean the tank and replace the strainer in the tank my fuel filter keeps showing dirt in it.
