Replacing Battery

Hi all, whenever I turn on the front light my dash light dimms. It appears the battery can no longer provide the current required by the full system. I'm thinking about a replacement.

Do you guys have any recommendation?

Cheers. and Thanks for all the help

DO NOT GET THE OEM BATTERY!

Those batteries are terrible! When my aunt got my car in 2000, she was given a new battery and then in 3 years she had gone through a few batteries before she said F it and went out and bought her own battery and then it was fine.

I went to Autozone picked up a battery with a lifetime warranty for $89. There was a special going on for it at the time I think the warranty range for batteries are 2-9 years depending on the battery.

I wouldn't recommend Optima batteries. I have defected so many of them in the last couple years.

Believe it or not, Everstart which is sold exlusivley at Walmart is a great battery for a great price.

I paid $75, and they will give you $10 back if you bring in your old battery. So I got my battery for $65....

well i went cheap when i bought a battery for my tl (reason: my car was in pieces at the time) but the $65 battery isn't bad how much warranty with that?

Personally me, i'd go to autozone and buy a Duralast Gold and get the lifetime warranty most of those batteries are $89+

once i have to replace mine thats what i'll do

ps. i paid $50 for mine with 2 years warranty. (from a guy selling them out of his trunk, lol. jk)

Um... The dash lights are supposed to dim when your parking/headlights are turned on.

Move the dim dial up.

It is near the fogs and cruise control buttons.

With less glare from inside the car, oh, I don't know, maybe you could see the road? Try driving at night with a flashlight shining in your face and post how you got on... and how many things you hit.

~Cheers~

hahaha, OK I get it now. But I have the habit of turning on my light even during the day. Sometimes I cant read the clock... its annoying. Oh well, its better than hitting stuff at night I suppose
