Question
Question
I have my first, of what will likely be many in the future, question. I noticed on some of the pictures posted, that the licence plate holes in the front bumber are covered. Is this something that i can buy, or was it done 'in-house'. If you have no idea of what I'm talking about, let me know.
Thanks.
Thanks.
when i bought the car, the dealer gave me these plastic tabs that went over the holes. pretty surprised to find them in my cup holders. you can also fill the holes in with a filler and then paint the whole bumper again. ask your local body shop or something. hope that helps.
instead of painting your whole bumper, you can just bondo the holes and paint over those spots. your paint might not match the rest of the bumper though.. but its cheaper to just paint over those 2 little nasty patches. i kept my license plate in front anyway cuz its illegal not to have it and its kinda ghetto to have it on the inside of your car in the dashboard..
plate
My TL and my Accord both don't have the front plates on, or in the car, lol. They are in my garage. It is illegal around here, but I've gotten away with it for years with my accord and so far with my TL.

License plate plugs
I ordered mine at the dealer. Cost $10. It comes in plain black. You will need to paint it. Fortunately, I have a Flamenco Black 3.2TL.
They are plain snap in plugs. But gives you the "tailored look."
Otherwise, get yourself an ACURA logo plate. Looks nice, but I like it clean.
