Pro-Kit ordered!

Ordered it tonight. Tired of my car having so much wheel gap with the new wheels.

Will have pictures once installed and I get it re-aligned, most have seen the before shots with like 3+ inches of gap.

I chose the ProKit rather than the Dropzones because the dropzone is a VERY aggresive drop. I have seen no one talk about even owning a set for a 1st gen TL and have spoke to 2 members that have ProKits on their 3.2 that love them.

Next and last step for the outside is finding a paint shop to paint the rockers.

Called one today and he said 175 Per.

I think I can shop around and find it much cheaper. They are not very big at all, and I can take them off the car.

Only other things I see myself doing to the car is the secret weapon intake.

Did the shop know that you could remove them from the car and have them painted? That may have made a price difference for you.

I wanna see the new setup once it's done.

I wish I wasn't a poor college student right now.

I am also a poor college student

I did not specify that I would take them off the car. That might have been the problem.

I had the same shop spray a wings west grill I bought for my Camaro SS and they charged me 75 dollars, but I did bring it in.

I'm exactly $500 in the hole right now. So I've got a little while before everything gets back to normal.

I would definately give them a call back, if you are satisfied with the grill they did.

Went back to the shop that had first quoted me 175 per side and told him I'd take them off and reinstall them myself. New quote is 80 per side.

Sounds fair to me. Probably have them done next week or the week after. He said it would only take a day.

those aren't the drop specs for prokit.. might want to double check the box once you get it.

the only downside to prokit is that the rear looks lower than the front even though the front is lower.
