well some light bulbs are higher wattage than what our wiring can handle. i say if you want to get new lights, go with reputable companies like PIAA. if you wanted to upgrade to a higher wattage, then i suggest you to change your wiring just to be safe. Also realize that higher wattage bulbs give off more heat and therefore may melt the housings. i have a set of PIAA platinum superwhites and they have a blueish tint to them. do a quick search on ebay to get them cheaper. hope this helps.

I need an explanation on lights. Will some lights burn your car wiring? I know nothing about lights, wattage, brightness, etc. Please educate me. I want some nice bright bulbs with a blue tint to it.
