Cool I got rims !

18x7.5 Giovanna Corsica - silver - +43 offset.

They were the first rims that I started to look at because of dom's car, and I have looked for almost a year now and finally got my first choice

I also have no rubbing- I have the eibach prokit (dropped 1.2 in the back and 1" in the front ) it looks perfect, I thought it wasn't enough when I first got it b/c I had stock wheels. But now... wow
I will have pics within the next week or so.... its going to rain tomm so I can't clean it today . Oh I have Kumho's 225/40/18 and they are pretty good too.
Best 1435 (shipped) that I ever spent.
I got them from www.precisioninstallations.com - the guy there named craig (ken2000 referred me to him) is the ****...

Say, is your Tl a 2.5? The reason I ask is that I have pretty much the same wheel and tire size as yours except my offset is 45. That is 2 mm more inset than yours and I had to get my rear fender lip shaved. If yours is a 2.5, then that means a 2.5 and 3.2 are very different not only in the engine and front body, but also in either the wheel track or the body width.

Question 96TL..What mods?

96TL,
Looks nice.
What are the specs on your TL? 2.5 or 3.2? Mods? I noticed you have sidemarkers, clear bumper lens, wheels, spoiler and tint. Not a stock rear spoiler...what kind is it? How much did it cost? Wheel/tire size? Manufacturer/model? Painted or polished? How much?

The new guy.

VALUE parts are very expensive. I did get my tails from that guy too. I only saved like $50 or something.

Well, I emailed him after I didn't win the bid for the lights and he told me he had another used pair that he would sell. He wanted it for 275 but i brought it down to 225. Theres nothing wrong with it, just that theres this small little crack on the black molding which wont be seen when its installed. It doesnt come with wires either but I think I can use the stock ones. Overall, I think I got a pretty good deal, better than paying over 400. Hopefully I can get a phat deal for the spoiler and kit.

Question 96TL's mesh grille

96TL,
How did you do the mesh grille? I took mine apart and it didn't look easy. Once the black plastic part was out, there was nothing to hold the mesh in. Have any close ups of the grille and rear spoiler?

Thanks for the help,
Tony

tony i dot know if you have a 3.2 but on the 2.5 that chrome piece that you take off with screws held my mesh grill on ,basically i just ct it to shape and then put the chrome piece back on and scrwed it back in ( had to make a few cuts to make it go on ) and it has held since i put my azect grill on

962.5TL...grille

962.5TL,
The grille on th 3.2TL is attached to he hood. When you remove the grille, then remove the chrome from the black plastic, there is nothing to reattach to the hood. All fastners are attached to the black piece (which sticks out too much to cover with mesh). I may have to do a custom job. Make my own frame (no chrome).

Thanks,
Tony

I had to remove the fins and use the black peice as a trim to hold the mesh in place.
