headlight adjustment problem

Trying to adjust my driver side headlight to point up a notch. For some reason my horizontal and vertical adjustment don't work when I try them with a Phillips screw driver as the manual suggests. Wheels are turning but no results. Like to get a solution for this and some feedback guys and gals. Thanx.

I don't think you've found the screw for adjusting the headlight. The ones you've found is just for the fog lights. The knobs for adjusting the headlights are located very deep. You'll need a long screwdriver. I mean very loong! Even if you find the screw, adjusting it is not very easy. I"ve tried it so many times with very little success.

They're hidden off to the side. I have a 15" long screwdriver just for adjusting them, hehe. Anyhow, park on a level surface with a wall 25 feet away to aim them. The beams should be at knee level against the wall, with the right headlight 2"-3" higher than the left.

Go90go r u driving a 2.5TL? Cos I checked my 3.2TL there r no such screws hidden on the sides. Just the two on the top back that can be accessed from the top back with a Phillips s driver.

A pic would mean the world right about now. Maybe with 2 circles around the exact locations. (up-down adj. & Left-Right adj.) I have scheduled an appointment at the stealership for next Thursday cos even Pepboys couldn't figure it out.

Phewww! finally found the little brat, hidden way down on the side. Had to go buy a 6" Phillips screwdriver to get in there. You definitely need a flash light in there to see. The key factor is that you access the adjustment through the furthest 'metal support' hole closest to the side fender!!! Now I gotta readjust all the lights including the fogs. Pep Boys are retarded! They told me that my car might have been hit and adjustments are broke, that I should get a new one from a junkyard or something. All they had to say was that they can't figure it out. Ass monkeys! Called and made a complaint to the manager. Thanks for the info guys.

NP, m8. I aimed my right fog so high, that the yellow condom broke inside the headlight housing, hehe. Stupid design of the lens... Grr...
