Is there no light on the 1996 3.2TL for low gas? when the tank is empty the gas light doesn't light up on the dash board. anyone know why the light doesn't come on? when i turn the car on to II all lights come on except for the gas.

 

Every car has one, so yours has to have one. Unless it's burned out somehow.

 

Mine comes on anywhere from 300 miles to 400 depending on my driving habits.

 

mine is weird too.. it worked when I first got the car, then I didn't see if for months (no not because I've kept my tank full, but because it just stopped working).. then recently it has been making random appearances when I'm on E.. I don't know whats up with it.

 

havent seen mine in 2 yrs. (as long as ive had tha car) and Im ALWAYS on E. come to think of it i better make sure mine is at least not blown..

 

LOL I see mine ALL the time, I would GUESS that it's blown. but it only comes on at the VERY bottom of the tank, I ran out once and the light had been on for about 50 KMS or so....so like 30 miles when the light comes on and you are DONE.

 

Mine has been out for two years, except when I went through a touchless car wash ...... it popped on for like 2 minutes.

 

dont they have gas sensors?

 

i usually reach empty after 240-280 miles. I keep waiting to see the light come on but it never does. I don't wanna get stuck on empty cuz the light didn't come on. How many miles can i get on a 96 3.2TL?

In fact, I think every Honda automobile in the United States since the 1960's has had one

Its in the lower right portion of the dash instrumentation.

 

mine must be burned out.....i've never seen it, not even at startup.

 

ive never seen it in my life...can somone take a picture, if mines out ill replace it
