I need those mirrors so I can get rid of my ghetto ones. How much should I offer this guy to end the auction early?

I understand the reason for having the folding mirrors, but how do you get out of the car when you are parked so close to others. I guess if your'e small enough you could squeeze out the pass through and the trunk

First off, I need new mirrors anyway since I drilled sidemarkers through mine like an A$$. So those will cost me less than getting new casings from ACURA (I don’t have heated mirrors BTW). Also, I plan on getting an alarm and it would be nice to have them fold up every time the alarm is armed. I don’t know if I’m getting them definitely yet. I’ll let you guys know. $75 to ship is killing me though.

$75 is hella expensive just to ship some mirrors. Think hes just trying to pocket some extras.

yeah that does seem like a lot.. really? I thought maybe heated mirrors were standard.. maybe they only come with premium? bringing up old ideas.. I can't understand how it would have costed so much to put the benz signals in your mirrors.. all your doing is cutting and mounting right?

just a question.. why does everybody leave their license plates on when they take a picture? it looks a lot nicer if you take them off and smear out the holes? haha just curious because I did that and I loved the way it looked.. just with I could actually do that

There was no room to fit the Benz blinkers so a whole new casing had to be made out of fiberglass. Thats alot of labor. I didn't even bother. I wish I could've gotten them though.

well in NJ if i don't have a front plate on its illegal and i will get pulled over like everytime a cop sees me.. its just as bad as having ground effects on at night.. they are real *******s here and they won't let me pass even with my plate in the front windshield.. thats why i have to leave my plate on

Question

Are the mirrors in the same aspect ratio like ours. You know how the passenger side mirror in the states says "Objects in mirror closer than they appear"..In Japan the driver side is that side..would it be the opposite to ours??

I just have a blank in that spot. I guess I'm missing an option. What do you have there?

If we turn the switch upside down, the sunroof switch and bright control switch of my car would fill in those two blank spots on the JDM switch.

yeah its the same way here I actually knew a guy who got his license taken away for 2 months for not having it on.. I just took mine off for the picture though thats what I was confused about its a simple thing to do and you don't have to worry about blanking out your plate.. and it looks a lot better for the picture

I won the mirrors for $132.50. I can't wait to install these suckas. I need new mirrors anyway.

I also asked ValueTL if he can get me the factory wiring harnesses for both mirrors and the switch. I hope he can.

Bro, can you do me a major favor? I'm having trouble finding the E-class blinkers online and I can't call a dealer because they want a VIN number. They don't need the VIN number but without it its a pain in the a$$ to search for parts and they're all lazy bastards. Can you do me a HUGE favor and call your local Benz dealer and tell them you need a price on just the 2 mirror blinkers? PLEASE?

Thanks bro. I owe you one. Let me know if you're ever doing something to your TL and need some help. I know the car inside and out. Not enginewise though.

Thanks bro! If they're $30 each then I'll buy them this weekend. I thought they'd be more since they're LED. You asked for the E-class ones right?

I just got off the phone with a jerk from Sovereign and he told me they cost $180.00 per side. Damn, I don’t know if I want to spend $360.00 on blinkers plus installation and paint. The guy that told you $30 each must’ve thought you meant the new style E-Class blinkers which are like the CLK’s that go across the whole mirror, those are $30 each. Those are so cheap because they aren’t LED, they’re just regular amber bulbs. He did ask for the VIN # by the way. I REALLY want them badly. This is one mod that keeps coming back to haunt me and I can never do for some reason or other. Thanks for your help though. I might check a few junkyards but most likely they’ll only sell the complete mirror and that’ll cost me more than buying just the blinkers from the dealer. This sucks bad.

Japan. Think about it. ValueTL charges $90 to ship tails. Mirrors are pretty heavy too.
