Foglight blubs.
I just wanted to know what kind of blubs are legal (in the US) for foglights. I am looking for Xenon, if it's allowed (as I am going to remove the yellow lens). My manual doesn't cover anything on it. I think I need H3 blubs... but I don't any clue when it comes to foglight blubs.
Can anyone here help?

Thanks.
So, that's all I need to know when shopping for foglights?
And this statement about:

Hey Vincent,
TL-Ridaz is right and the H3C is the right bulb for our foglights. This is a very difficult bulb to find, but you can use the H3 bulb with a little conversion. I didn't go that route and I put in a set of PIAA H3C Plazmas. Now since I have HID's, the bulbs don't match that well, but they still look good. Any bulb is legal for our fogs as long as they are not blinding to oncoming traffic, and they are not Red or Blue.

Thanks, that clears things up. If I can't find the blubs... I'll just look online or something.
It sucks that you can have yellow foglights but not blue (a baby blue or sky blue would've been cool).

The lights themselves can be blue-ish. You probably cant have a blue cover, but you can have blue Xenon H3C's...

Yeah, I understand that...
It's cool though... the blue Xenon headlights will work just fine.
I actually leave my foglights on because it adds a bit more brightness to the sides. The new Xenon blubs I am getting should do that just fine.

Vincent,
I just bought some Sylvania Silverstar H3 ST's and they should work (hopfully ) just fine. They put out the same amount of watts (55 I believe) as stock headlights. I have matching Silverstar headlights so it'll look pretty tight. I just wish the foglight setup was a low mounted one, like the new TL.

Developed by one of the largest automotive bulb manufacturers in the world with over 80 years of experience, Koito’s Whitebeam headlight bulbs are whiter and ever closer to natural sunlight than most other headlight bulbs. Whitebeam headlight bulbs deliver up to 110 watt performance in a 55 watt bulb and produces brightness and intensity approaching that of High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamps. All Koito Whitebeam headlight bulbs display a color temperature of 3770K. SAE and DOT approved. Made exclusively in Japan. Sold as a pair
