Change 2 front or 2 rear shocks?

Hello guys!

I want my 2.5TL go smoother, should I change 2 front shock or 2 rear shock? I dont have enough money to get all 4 changed...

Do I have to go get alignment after changing 2 shocks?

Thank you in advance!

Are they leaking? Making any noise?

Those look good. Good price too.

Lower it almost an inch with 90-97 Accord shocks...

^ Yes, but lowering only the rear is like having a dog drag its ass down the sidewalk...

Changing just the the shocks with ones from an accord will drop it? Or the springs too?

OEM springs + 90-97 Accord shocks on a 96-98 TL = ~3/4" drop

No IIRC, it is a direct bolt on. Also IIRC, you need to use the OEM top hats.

^ Hey quick question for those who may be wondering, is doing that bad for the OEM springs and cause it to go out faster? We can't just use the Accord springs?

Another option I heard was using the 1st gen TSX springs.

The OEM TSX springs will give the car a 2" drop.

The Accord springs will also lower the car some more.

It shouldn't be too bad for the springs considering it isn't a significant drop at all.

I read somewhere that the Accord springs will probably not hold up well on our TLs because of the weight on our cars. So what shocks can go with the TSX springs?

I'm guessing any.

TSX spring + Accord shocks = ~3" drop. That is crazy low.

Tokico Blues if you're going for the fixed route. Since you're looking for comfort, that's probably the best option without going to adjustables.
