Hey... YO

This has got to be the most informative sight I have ever used.
I just got a replacement K&N filter for my car, which was actually made for the Legend but fits perfectly, so I'm wondering are there any intakes made for the legend that any one is using that fits without any custom work???

And who makes the clear bumper lenses? any one in Canada have em or knows where to get em around here? Or cheaper?

I know I bought my corners off E-bay but nopi has them too.

 

What you need to do is build your own air intake system. I just built one for my 3.2 TL, the filter is coming in tomorrow! Its just as good as anything you can buy for other cars...cheaper too. If you want instructions, I could send them to you, or you might try a search on this forum, I dont know if its been covered yet or not.

hey, LEGENDS k&n drop in filter fits our cars??? even 2.5 TL's or only 3.2's?????

 

I only know about the 3.2 the filter, its a pretty odd shape ( it has one square corner, with one side longer than the other, just take a look, if the 2.5 filter has the same shape my rough description will make sense) I cant get the exact dimensions out right now my car is in the shop. But could someone send or post instructions on an intake system to me?

 

No the 2.5 would probably take the Vigor filter. Still I would just go with the entire system...much much better. If anybody wants instructions, PM me.

Have you been dipping into your stash? Thats just for the filter, it still goes into the factory airbox. I hate the factory airbox, it restricts air flow so much. Its like trying to drink a think milkshake through one of those coffee straws. I built something like this for 3.2:

HEY I had seen your post from way back when you said you had instructions on how to build a custom airfilter for your 3.2tl and I now own a 3.2 and was wondering if yo still have the instructions. If you do can you please share them with me if not I understand sorry bout da bother
