Brake light problem

My brake light in the instrument panel sometimes light up and stay lite for awhile then goes out. Is this a brake system problem or what? It also seems to happen when I park on a hill.

I have that same problem when I accelerate hard. I think the hand brake sensor needs to be adjusted so it's not that sensitive. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

im thinking the same thing, brake fluid b/c if it lights up if your on a hill or slope, its prob low. sometimes brake lights come on when its cold and would turn off when your brake/rotors heat up. oh and just to make sure, are your emergency brakes applied??

Yup, check your fluid, and LET ME TELL YOU...DO NOT LET THE MASTER CYLINDER GO DRY!! I was replacing a caliper that had been leaking, didn't top it off before I started, and as I was bleeding the brakes, the cylinder went dry! Busted up the cylinder (still working, but needs to be replaced) and had to pay Acura $300 to bleed my ENTIRE brake system. Pain in the ass!! (Although it did let me have a nice new RS-X for a day..haha!!) SOO...keep an eye on that light, and check your fluid as soon as it comes on!!
