Feel very bad right now - Last night, after pick up some movies. I was driving home. It's been raining all day - the road was wet - it was actually still raining - There was this Police car with blue light and siren on - trying to cross over from the street I was traveling... He was stop and go... I slow down to yield his sorry ass ... and BAMMMM - I was rear-ended by a Ford Explorer. The Ford Explorer guy got a ticket for following to closely. Beside the trunk won't close - the tail lights are okay exterior... the inside part (where are hiden behind the trunk) are broken. It was raining so I didn't check closely for damage. I'll go to the insurance on Monday - Feel terrible. Last car accident, over 2 years ago, I was also rear ended... It's a bad thing!

 

That sucks man. Hope you get it fixed. The rain causes so many accidents.

 

I am an attorney. Be sure to tell the other guys insurance you want a rental car, and when they start pricing repairs, tell them you want new parts. I had a 91 rodeo and last year it got hit and needed a new rear quater panel. The insurance adjuster tells me, we price used parts and I said bull****, it was new when it went on, not my fault your insured hit it. So my point is haggle your ass off for 10 min with the adjuster and it will get you an extra grand or more. I got $1700 for a dent in my rodeo that would have only cost $500 to repair at a shop if I hadnt done it myself.

Also, and I am not telling you to do this, but if your neck is sore or might be sore in the future , then go to a lawyer and he will send you to a chiropractor who will find something, free massage once a week, and you get at least $2,500 cash, the lawyer gets 1/3, the chiropractor gets 1/3 and you end up with at least $800

Thanks guys for the replies. I got estimate for the damage. It's about $3K. However, from both collision centers, they both noted that there could be hidden damage. It's been a week since the accident. I need to push them to get my car repair as soon as possible. I don't feel right driving my car like that.
