i would start with looking at all the wheel speed sensors to see if they are damaged, if they dont im not sure that you can pull codes off with out a reader

The ABS controller will identify the nature of the problem w/ a diagnostic code.

Code is obtained by shorting the Service Check Connector (2 wire blue connector) under the glove box w/ a short piece of wire. Turn keyswitch to ON and ABS light will flash the codes w/ short flashes and pauses; FFFF-P-FF would be 42. A long pause will separate multiple codes.

Post back for guidance on the nature of the problem or if you have an Acura shop manual you can look up the code.

good luck

Read this thread - TexasHonda helped me out....You'll have to extract the codes and post back for somebody to decipher those codes for you !!

I had this issue with my 2.5 Tl 96 as well. At first it came on, i replaced the ABS accumulator, that cleared the light, but shortly later on the light came back on. Now it just comes on intermittently (very rarely) and usually turning off the car and back on removes it. As well, the 'buzzing' sound for the accumulator comes on many times while I drive which I just ignore.

When replacing the accumulator the mechanic had pointed out the rotting of the 'o-ring' at the base of the accumulator, look for this on the top left section of your hood, there is a cylinder shaped silver accumulator and look for the leaks at the bottom of it...but keep in mind, even if there is a leak, doesnt mean ur accumulator, best thing to do is take your car to a small mechanic shop, and ask them to pull your abs code.
